Story from across the globe
While we are travelling around, there are some interesting stories from people and their paw-friends, how they meet them and sometimes it's an unexpected stories :)
Marie was standing outside her house, in the middle of an argument with her boyfriend. It was not exactly the most romantic moment of her life. And then, out of nowhere, a grey cat appeared.
He walked toward them as if he had been invited to the conversation, completely unbothered by the tension. While Marie and her boyfriend were busy arguing, Grey simply sat there and watched.
Somehow, the argument stopped. Marie looked at the cat. The cat looked back at Marie. And that was it. She didn't know it yet, but Grey had just chosen her.
Sometimes, you don't meet your pet when everything is perfect. Sometimes, they simply walk into your life at exactly the right moment.

Marie - Chicago
★★★★★

Sheila - Shanghai
★★★★★
During COVID, the world suddenly became very quiet. There were no busy streets, no normal routines, and far fewer people to talk to. Sheila found herself spending a lot more time alone at home. She realized she needed a partner.
Not a boyfriend. Not a colleague. A tiny, furry partner. And that's when her first guinea pig came into her life. What started as a simple thought — “Maybe I need some company.” — soon became a daily routine of feeding, talking, playing, and sharing the strangely quiet days together.
The world outside was uncertain. But inside, there was always someone waiting for her. Sometimes, companionship doesn't need to be complicated. Sometimes, it just squeaks.

Joy - Jakarta
Cookie's journey to Joy wasn't an easy one. Before meeting Joy, Cookie had already been passed from one owner to another. He was too thin, overly clingy, and had a problem with his back legs. Maybe people saw him as difficult.
Maybe they simply didn't know what to do with him. But then Cookie met Joy. And something changed. For the first time, Cookie found someone who didn't see his problems first. Joy saw the little dog underneath them — the one who just wanted to be loved, protected, and finally feel safe.
With time, good food, care, and plenty of love, Cookie became happier and stronger. The dog who had been passed around finally had somewhere to stay. And more importantly, somewhere to belong. Sometimes, a pet doesn't need you to rescue them.
They just need you to be the person who says:
“You can stay.”

Edward - Frankfurt
★★★★★
Edward was preparing to go abroad when he met a beautiful little white West Highland dog. He probably didn't expect anything special.
But then he saw her. White fur. Bright eyes. That unmistakable little Westie face. And somehow, it was love at first sight. Edward had places to go, plans to make, and a journey ahead of him.
But from that moment, this little white dog became part of the journey too. Sometimes we choose our pets.
And sometimes, we simply meet them and immediately know: “Oh… you're going to be important to me.”
And that was exactly what happened with Edward and his beautiful Westie.
